Thank you for visiting my website! I’m excited to have my own little corner of the web to share this part of my life. I started this sport the same way that so many of us do — as just another way to challenge myself, and it turned out to be a ton of fun. I had a breakthrough year in 2007, and decided to race as a professional the following year — something I never had in the plans, but figured why not! Triathlon is still a hobby since I work full-time, but I enjoy every minute of the training, traveling, camaraderie, and racing, and it enhances my life in a most positive way.
My goals are to continue to develop in all three sports, and I will focus my 2010 season on the 70.3 distance. Racing in this category brings new challenges, much fiercer competition, and a requirement for thicker skin! But I know there’s a podium place with my name on it, and I’m out to find it! Follow my blog as I write about training, racing, traveling, and everything else (life!) that gets squeezed in between.
I am also a USAT Certified Level I Coach. Please visit The Sport Factory for more information on coaching and specialty services.
The Sport Factory is one of only four USAT Certified Performance Centers in the country, developed USAT Elite Coach Matt Russ.
