Romance With a Bear or a Blender.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone.

Danny and I were both amused to find that our sweet little baby girl was feeling festive as she showed her love to Mr. Bear. Everyday is Valentine’s Day to this little love bug:

Just look at that poor bear’s face.  He doesn’t even stand a chance!

We are such proud parents.

In equally romantic news, I’d like to further embarrass myself by sharing what got ME excited on Valentine’s Day.   We walked into The Taj Mahal (Costco) today, and I was sucked right in by this effervescent 73 year old man, proudly displaying his enlarged GA driver’s license to prove his age, all decked out with a microphone and surrounded by piles of fruits and veggies.

And there it was . . .  The VITAMIX! For a small fortune, I could have all of nature’s glory in drinkable form, day in and day out, all courtesy of this blender-on-steroids.  This thing has the horsepower of a Lamborghini, and can even make soup in about 2 minutes.  I was absolutely SMITTEN.  Had to have one.   I think a dozen roses is lame, but a high power blender– now that’s a Valentine’s Day to remember!  :)

  1. No doubt! I would much rather have a sweet blender then a dozen roses any day! Roses last a few days – blenders last forever :)

Some friends of mine met and worked out with you on Saturday and said you where a blast! Looking forward to hopefully meeting you in New Orleans for 70.3!

Are you sure you are your mother’s daughter?? You know she would have told you to take the roses! :) But I agree with the blender…it will last longer!

I miss my little Shaina. Did she make the bear happy or is it in shock? The eyes say it all!
