Red eyes. Dirty clothes (lots of ‘em). Bosu balls, gym mats, and leg press. Wet swimsuits. Dirty bike. Sore legs. Running shoes– used for running! Constant grazing. Cold fingers and toes on the bike. Powerbar wrappers. More dirty clothes. Salty heart rate monitors. Crud-covered SRM.
= One happy girl.
SO good to be back at it. Crossing my fingers that the the running doesn’t stop. According to multiple exhorbitantly-priced imaging results (my insurance company must love me), I’m “perfectly normal.” So where’d the pain come from?
I faked it.
Just kidding. Who the heck knows. To every orthopaedic surgeon in Atlanta that I’ve hounded, harassed, and whined to, I am waving the white flag. I’m not giving it another thought.
Just happy to be back in the game.
